Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and delivering individualized physiotherapy treatment programs based on a thorough understanding of evidence-based practice and treatment options. This will involve conducting clinical assessments, utilizing reasoning skills, and applying knowledge of treatment techniques, including manual physiotherapy, patient education, exercise classes, electrotherapy, and alternative options.

The Physiotherapist will meet with patients to assess their physical challenges and develop suitable treatment programs. They will also monitor patient progress, adjusting or changing treatments as needed, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate will maintain an up-to-date awareness of current policies and procedures, participate in meetings and annual performance reviews, and contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on their own and team activities and suggesting ways to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment programs based on evidence-based practice and treatment options.

Person Specification
  • Qualified Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Demonstrate evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
