Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Role

Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments and produce reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will work with customers to understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will conduct assessments, gather information, and produce detailed reports to support the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life
  • Produce high-quality reports to support the decision-making process
  • Develop and maintain your clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and support
Requirements
  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of post-registration experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
