Research and Engagement Officer (Maternity Cover)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Engagement Officer to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on sexual exploitation, working closely with our Community Engagement Project and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis on sexual exploitation, including data collection and analysis
  • Support the development of new perspectives on human trafficking and sexual exploitation in the UK and beyond
  • Work closely with our Community Engagement Project and other stakeholders to identify and support women who are sexually exploited
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and partner agencies
  • Contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives to tackle sexual exploitation
Requirements:
  • Experience of research and analysis, particularly in the field of sexual exploitation
  • Strong understanding of sex work, sexual exploitation, and modern slavery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
