Teaching Assistant Position
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated teaching assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Manchester. The successful candidate will have experience working with students who require additional support due to SEMH needs and be able to provide high-quality one-to-one and small group support.

About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of SEMH difficulties and experience in supporting students who display challenging behaviour. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEMH needs
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
* Collaborate with teachers to create and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students
* Use effective behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements
* Relevant experience in a school setting, preferably working with students with SEMH needs
* Strong understanding of SEMH difficulties and strategies for supporting students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
