Job Summary
The Director of Operational Finance plays a pivotal role in leading a team of finance professionals to manage a substantial budget, influencing a Trust-wide revenue budget exceeding £1 billion and an annual Capital budget of £60 million. This position requires the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, ensuring the Trust's financial information is accurate and compliant with professional accounting standards.
Main Responsibilities
Provide compassionate and supportive leadership to the finance team, ensuring high-quality and responsive outputs from Financial Management, Capital, Financial Services, and Charitable finance.
Offer sound financial expertise to support a quality accounting service, adhering to accounting and governance standards.
Develop and implement robust forecasting processes, regularly reviewed based on sound financial analysis.
Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Finance to assure the integrity of core processes and the financial framework.
