Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Programme Coordinator to join our team at Illuminate Recruitment Ltd. As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Programme Manager in the smooth running of projects, ensuring prompt communication with volunteers and users, and monitoring project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Matching volunteers to users and projects
- Ensuring the smooth running of projects with prompt communication to both volunteers and users
- Monitoring project progress and evaluating outputs and outcomes
- Ensuring relevant data is collected and stored appropriately
- Collecting relevant data to prepare an annual report for our Board
- Maintaining a list of volunteers and supporting them, including providing resources, training, and recognition
- Promoting Pro Bono OR to potential users and volunteers, including giving presentations and speaking at conferences, writing articles and newsletters, and using web conferencing software
- Identifying potential volunteers and keeping them engaged, exploring ways volunteers can support Pro Bono OR in addition to undertaking projects
Requirements:
- Project management experience
- Exceptional project administration abilities
- Volunteer management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Good strategic planning
- Ability to research, collate, and summarize facts and views in good English
- Ability to manage time effectively and monitor performance against deadlines and milestones with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of and ability to use IT, including web conferencing software
- Prepared to travel around the UK when required
