Nursery Team Leader

At Pick for Britain, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursery Team Leader to join our vibrant team in the pre-school and toddler class. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage a small team of nursery practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Nursery Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a dedicated team of nursery practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Mentoring and supporting team members, providing guidance on best practices and identifying opportunities for their continuous professional development.
- Representing the nursery professionally and attending staff meetings, training, and community events.
You will also be required to establish strong partnerships with parents and carers, provide regular updates on children's development, and address any concerns in a professional manner.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A level 3 or above childcare qualification.
- Experience leading or supervising a small team of nursery staff.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- A passion for children's education and care, and a commitment to inclusivity.
