Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at ETS Technical Selection in Malvern. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organisational skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing multi-faceted projects with a mix of internal equipment and specialist contractors. A working knowledge of CDM and project management certification would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate projects, checking feasibility and working out budgets, teams and resources.
Carry out planning, setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks.
Select, lead and motivate the project team from both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage projects, coordinating the team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget.
Closely monitor and control activities to track progress.
Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.
Communicate regularly with clients and management.
Close projects, evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning.
Requirements
IOSH certification
Ability to write risk assessments
COSHH certification
Project management certification
Strong safety management skills
Personal Characteristics & Skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills (self and others).
Technically minded with a solution-driven work ethic.
Resilience and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to problem solve and make commercial decisions.
Deliver to tight deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
