About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join Hewett Recruitment in Worcestershire. This is a hands-on role that involves providing professional and efficient sample preparation and dispatch for internal staff and customers.

As the Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

You will also be required to manage stock levels, arrange stock replenishment, raise delivery notes, and coordinate the delivery of samples within the UK and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong IT and administration skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure internal and external customer needs are met in a professional and efficient manner
  • Log and prepare sample requests
  • Manage stock levels and arrange stock replenishment with the stores
  • Raise delivery notes using internal accounts system
  • Manage couriers to arrange and coordinate the delivery of samples, within the UK and internationally
  • Communicate the arrival of newly developed products to the business
  • Carry out responsibilities with due regard to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including effective communication both internally and externally
  • Tenacity to complete tasks to a high standard
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Estimated Salary: £26,000 per annum
