Naval Architecture Graduate Programme

Embark on a two-year rotation through complex engineering projects as a Graduate Naval Architect at Babcock. Define your path, identify placements that suit your career ambitions, and be guided by a professional mentor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of naval architecture projects
  • Analyse and assess aircraft carrier flight deck structure for F35 Lightning landing loads
  • Design systems to withstand wartime explosive events
  • Define the stability requirements for surfacing a nuclear submarine through the polar ice cap

What You'll Need:

  • A STEM-based degree in Naval Architecture, Ship Science, Maritime/Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, Structural Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • Security Clearance and Trade Control restrictions may apply
