Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Lead Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Lead Nurse to join our team at Kings College Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neonatal nursing and leadership, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care to critically ill and stable babies and their parents/carers
  • Assist in the leadership and development of a team of nurses within the Unit
  • Act as a clinical resource and link nurse within the Unit and across the Care Group
  • Evidence of clinical expertise and leadership skills
  • Previous experience of leading change in a clinical environment

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of neonatal nursing and leadership principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff at all levels
  • Team building and working skills
  • Mentorship programme or equivalent teaching qualification
