About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation services to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care and transportation.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

This contract is paid at a blended rate of £12.37p/h (Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts). Annual remuneration starts from £25,964.23 based on expected hours. Enhanced pay of £1.20 extra per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities, supporting ward staff.
