Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marine Warranty Administrator to join our team in Southampton, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all warranty requirements in an efficient and courteous manner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Verify hours and expenses on warranty claims to ensure validity.
  2. Ensure comprehensive site audits, cost breakdowns, and clear descriptions of parts failure, cause, and rectification actions for all claims.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date worksheets for sub-contractor boats.
  4. Chase claims on a weekly or daily basis, depending on urgency.
  5. Keep sub-dealers informed about the status of their warranty claims.
  6. Arrange shipping of parts to sub-dealers, including customs documents where required.
  7. Follow up on AXA claims until paid or rejected.
  8. Manage dissatisfied customers professionally and escalate issues to the Warranty Manager.
  9. Assist the Service Administrator with general administration, including travel arrangements, and contribute to relevant administration tasks across the Group.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in warranty administration, preferably in the marine industry or leisure yachting sector.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel) and DMS/CRM systems.
