About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Administration Specialist to join our team in a dynamic international environment. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely processing of monthly data reporting and financial deadlines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong expertise in Occupational DB (Defined Benefit) Pension Schemes to contribute to business success, working collaboratively across departments and with clients globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration Standards: Uphold industry-leading standards and service-level agreements for handling business, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Treaty Compliance: Oversee the administration of UK business, ensuring adherence to treaties and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Data Accuracy: Provide accurate data for accounting, valuations, and regulatory reporting, collaborating with team members to meet month-end reporting deadlines.
  • Clients Relationships: Liaise with retrocession clients, ensuring data is shared accurately and on time, and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Process Documentation: Keep administration processes and procedures thoroughly documented, reflecting changes and updates as necessary.
  • Reinsurance Practices: Stay up-to-date on UK and Irish reinsurance practices, ensuring accurate premium administration across our company chain and external partners.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Proven experience in Occupational DB (Defined Benefit) Pension Schemes.
  • Education: University degree or equivalent experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
  • Skills: Strong IT skills, especially MS Excel, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Prioritization: Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive team player with creative problem-solving skills, able to handle large, complex datasets effectively.
