The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multi-site, fast-paced environment with a deep understanding of Employee Relations.

This field-based role will cover Tibshelf M1, Strensham, Sedgemoor and Taunton on the M5, Magor and Pont M4, requiring excellent influencing and communication skills to partner with Area Directors and Site Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular HR review meetings to identify issues, patterns, and trends
  • Contribute to the overall HR strategy to ensure it aligns with business needs
  • Lead local meetings to foster strong relationships between management teams and employees
  • Provide expert advice and support to Line Managers on Employee Relations issues
  • Ensure legal compliance and best practice approach to Employment Law
  • Manage Employment Tribunal claims and settlement agreements
  • Educate managers on relevant employment legislation and policy
  • Work with the business to identify and meet training needs
  • Support area and site recruitment activity

Requirements:

  • A professionally qualified HR professional with complex Employee Relations experience
  • Possess excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to manage time effectively
  • Ability to build credibility with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others at all levels

Salary and Benefits:

£55,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a fully expensed company car and other benefits.
