About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to join our Cheshire Mental Health Support Team in Ellesmere Port.

This exciting opportunity will involve working with children, young people, and their families, providing information, advice, and guidance through consultation, training, direct work, and delivering evidence-based interventions.

You will work closely with education settings and professionals to support vulnerable individuals and promote positive mental health outcomes.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £32,239.00.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and intervention services to children, young people, and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with education settings and professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including Low Intensity CBT, to promote positive mental health outcomes.
  • Access regular case management and clinical supervision to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Qualified Post Graduate Certificate or above from a provider university as part of the CYP-IAPT programme.
  • Professional registration with recognised National Body (BPS, BABCP).
  • Psychology or other health-related undergraduate degree.
  • Demonstrates continued professional development within the mental health arena.
