The role involves working in various settings, including homes, day services, and hospitals, delivering person-centered care and promoting independence. A strong understanding of learning disabilities, autism spectrum condition, and mental health is essential for this position.
As a Healthcare Practitioner Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting clients in crisis, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to deliver training to other professionals, service users, and carers.
The ideal candidate will have a Foundation Degree in Healthcare or a related qualification and at least 2 years of direct experience working with clients with learning disabilities. Strong communication skills, IT proficiency, and record-keeping abilities are also required.
A competitive salary of £24,907 - £30,615 per annum (inclusive of annual leave allowance) is offered for this role. Additional benefits include opportunities for ongoing training and development, a Guaranteed Interview Scheme for armed forces community applicants, and access to our Prepare to Care induction program.
