We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Ellesmere Port and Chester.

About the Team

Our CAMHS team provides specialist support to children with learning disabilities and mental health needs. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centered care, including group training for parents, caregivers, and professionals.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct assessments to identify causes of behaviors of concern and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Design and implement person-centered interventions to improve quality of life.
  • Facilitate training sessions for parents, caregivers, and professionals.
  • Collaborate with experts to provide holistic care.

You will also have the opportunity to receive tailored training to lead parent and professional sessions confidently and clear progression from Band 5 to Band 6.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning & development.
