About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Disability Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Ellesmere Port and Chester.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Band 5 nurse looking to progress or an experienced Band 6 nurse eager to support young people with learning disabilities.

You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide person-centered care, deliver group training for parents, caregivers, and professionals, and receive tailored training to lead parent and professional sessions confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate behaviours of concern for young people (0-18), identify causes, and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Design person-centred interventions to improve quality of life.
  • Facilitate training sessions for parents, caregivers, and professionals with full preparation and support.

What We're Looking For

  • A registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for working with children and adolescents.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a relocation package of up to £8,000, terms and conditions apply.
