Job Title: National Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Vertical Advantage. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering annual sales plans, managing trading relationships, and driving new business opportunities across our portfolio of grocery and convenience accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual business plans to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Manage trading relationships with key national accounts, including Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Ocado
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities to enhance market share
  • Monitor and review national account sales performance
  • Manage account and portfolio investment to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Direct responsibility for account forecasting and investment planning

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Proven experience in National Account management within an FMCG company
  • Top 4 grocery and food experience preferred
  • Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional exposure and ability to trade in a seasonal business
  • MS Excel/PowerPoint competency and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions
