Palliative Care Assistant

Nottinghamshire Hospice is a leading provider of compassionate, community-based palliative and end-of-life care. Our team provides planned 1:1 care and a roaming service to people in their own homes.
We're seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our Hospice in Your Home Team. As a palliative care assistant, you'll work shifts across the week, including weekends and bank holidays, on a planned rota basis.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in palliative care, working with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care to patients in their own homes.
The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to patients in their own homes
- Work collaboratively with the Hospice in Your Home Team to deliver a seamless service
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and carers
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of a Care Certificate Qualification
- Health Care Assistant experience
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
