Breast Health Services Professional

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Breast Care Nurse to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Your key responsibilities will include managing and delivering breast surgical wound clinics, providing telephone support to patients, and acting as a point of contact for those who have undergone breast surgery pre- and post-operatively.
Main Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a seamless specialist service for patients undergoing breast surgery.
- Wound Care Management: Manage and deliver breast surgical wound clinics, ensuring patients receive timely and effective care.
- Patient Support: Provide telephone support to patients and act as a point of contact for those who have undergone breast surgery.
- Clinical Governance: Ensure clinical governance is integrated into practice and that national policies and guidelines relevant to the specialty are interpreted and implemented.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the delivery of breast care services.
