Assistant Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at The Children's Society's Book Shop in Stockton Heath.
About the Role:
- Assist the Shop Manager in driving sales and profits, and work closely with staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Lead the team in the absence of the Shop Manager, inspiring and empowering colleagues to achieve their best.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement, while maintaining a positive and friendly shop environment.
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote the shop and its products.
About You:
- You will have a strong background in retail management, with experience in leading teams and driving sales growth.
- You will be self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a strong commitment to the values of The Children's Society.
- You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
