Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

About the RoleThis exciting domestic-facing opportunity focuses on ensuring the effective delivery of economic crime reforms across government, law enforcement, and industry. You will play a key role in driving reform agendas, implementing new initiatives, and evaluating their impact.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Home Office, law enforcement, Department for Business & Trade, and private sector partners to drive and deliver economic crime reforms.
- Lead the implementation and evaluation of an innovative new economic crime levy.
- Ensure economic crime reform is appropriately funded beyond the levy, including through the next Spending Review.
- Prepare for the UK's next Financial Action Task Force (FATF) assessment, tracking law enforcement outcomes and the impact of economic crime reforms.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong collaboration skills, ability to work across multiple departments, industry groups, and governance structures. Previous knowledge of government spending processes or tax policy development would be beneficial, but not essential. Experience in anti-money laundering or economic crime is not required, provided you are willing to learn and adapt.
Benefits- An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
