About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to drive economic crime reforms in the UK. As an AML Policy Strategist, you will collaborate closely with government agencies, law enforcement, and the private sector to develop and implement effective policies.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the UK's economic security and growth. You will be responsible for:

  1. Working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify key priorities and risks in economic crime reform.
  2. Developing and implementing innovative solutions to address these challenges.
  3. Ensuring that economic crime reform is adequately funded beyond the current levy.
  4. Preparing the UK for its next Financial Action Task Force (FATF) assessment.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need strong collaboration skills, ability to work across multiple departments and governance structures, and strategic thinking. Previous knowledge of government spending processes or tax policy development would be advantageous, but not essential. We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities to support your growth in this field.

We provide a competitive salary package, including:

  • An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 after 5 years), plus 8 public holidays and the King's birthday.
