Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team at Clive Owen LLP. As a key member of our Corporate Finance department, you will play a pivotal role in driving our firm's growth and success in the competitive financial landscape.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of delivering corporate finance assignments from commencement through to completion, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident speaking to clients and colleagues face to face, over the telephone and by email.

A typical day in the life of a Corporate Finance Specialist includes supporting the partner in leading M&A transactions, undertaking and reviewing valuations of various businesses, preparing and reviewing financial projections models, and undertaking financial due diligence to support fund-raising, private equity and M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the partner in leading M&A transactions from commencement through to completion
  • Undertake and review valuations of various businesses
  • Prepare and review financial projections models
  • Undertake financial due diligence to support fund-raising, private equity and M&A transactions
  • Line management duties for the team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of delivering corporate finance assignments from commencement through to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to clients' premises and attend networking events as required
  • Flexibility and proactivity in managing multiple priorities

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Darlington office
