About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Designer to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality design deliverables for various projects across the oil and gas, nuclear, energy, utilities, chemicals, and food sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Project Design Lead / Lead Civil and Structural Engineer in the production of Civil and Structural (C&S) design deliverables for single-discipline, multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects.
  2. Carry out design activities using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Advance Steel, or similar software, working independently to agreed timescales and budget.
  3. Participate in internal and external design reviews, supporting the Project Design Lead & Lead Civil and Structural Engineer.
  4. Identify changes to the design scope and report them to the Project Design Lead & Lead Civil and Structural Engineer, providing support to the management of the change process.
  5. Drive quality in all Engineering designs, including checking discipline design deliverables to company procedures.
Requirements
  1. More than 5 years of experience as a C&S designer in single-discipline and multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in one of the above-mentioned sectors.
  2. Deep knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Advance Steel, or similar software, capable of carrying designs without supervision.
  3. Sound knowledge of C&S engineering and design, as well as other disciplines (EC&I, Mechanical, Piping, and Process).
  4. Produce and develop design deliverables, including 3D models, GA drawings, steel detailing, reinforced concrete detailing, and relevant schedules.
  5. Assist in the delivery of site surveys of existing assets, including the production of site survey reports.
  6. Liaise and work closely with the project team to ensure correct deliverables.
  7. Assist Engineers with the production of design deliverables.
