Procurement Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Lawyer to join our client's legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement law and a strong understanding of commercial compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of a commercial compliance framework that adheres to applicable legal rules and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing standards on processes and controls.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, horizon scanning for the organisation, and ensuring that the category team operates to the highest standards.
  • Represent the legal function at meetings of the Category Decision Forum and, where appropriate, the Category Management Forum.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience within a private practice or Inhouse environment practicing in a relevant area.
  • Extensive experience of procurement law.

Benefits:

  • Salary from Just under 58K.
  • Excellent benefits package including performance bonus, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a generous pension scheme.
