The successful candidate will have extensive experience in procurement law and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:,

  • Support the development of a commercial compliance framework that embeds best practices and follows applicable legal rules.,

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing standards on processes and controls.,
    \t
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, horizon scanning for the organisation, and ensuring that the category team operates to the highest standards.,
    \t
  • Support the implementation of new standard procurement documents.,
    \t
  • Represent the legal function at meetings of the Category Decision Forum and, where appropriate, the Category Management Forum.,

Requirements:,

  • ,

  • At least 3 years of experience within a private practice or in-house environment practicing in a relevant area.,

  • Extensive experience of procurement law.,

This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 2 days a week working from one of the organisation's offices and 3 days working from home. The salary is from just under £58K with an excellent benefits package including a performance bonus, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a generous pension scheme.
