The role of a Service Adviser at Maplecrest Ford Lincoln of Union is a vital part of our team.

We are looking for a positive and self-motivated individual to join our team in Northern New Jersey, working with Ford and Lincoln vehicles, and Ford Trucks.

This position reports directly to the Service Director, with additional responsibilities to work with service and warranty managers.

A key responsibility of this role is to serve as a liaison between customers and technicians, clearly communicating all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.

The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to multi-task by handling and processing documents while serving a variety of customers, all within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between customers and technicians.
  • Clearly communicate all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
  • Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle.
  • Provide a complete and accurate estimate of costs for labor and parts.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle and communicate with customers by providing updates and status throughout the day.
  • Process repair orders.
  • Review all completed work and charges to customers.
  • Follow-up with customers post-service when customers have questions and/or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to contribute.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Google Docs.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
  • Demonstrate an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated to fulfill tasks.

Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
