Amazon Data Services UK Limited - E17 is seeking a Logistics Trainee - Inventory Management to join our Data Center team. This is an entry-level 12-week work and training program.

As a Logistics Trainee, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, receiving parts, maintaining inventory, and checking out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, transporting parts between different locations, and keeping precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.

This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. You will work in a dynamic team of Logistics Specialists, dedicated to providing our Customers with a world-class Customer Service.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities

Receiving parts, maintaining inventory, and checking out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers

Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations

Keeping precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company

Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school or equivalent diploma

Are 18 years of age or older

Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Work 10 hour shifts as needed

Experience with Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment

Knowledge of reverse logistics processes

Experience handling vendor relationships desirable

Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems

Reach truck license

Full clean driver's license
