About the Role

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist Trainee to join our Data Center team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited - E17. As a Trainee Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, receiving and managing parts, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of workspaces.

About the Team

You will be part of a diverse team of logistics specialists, engineers, and operations managers who work together to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Work 10 hour shifts as needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of reverse logistics processes
  • Experience handling vendor relationships desirable
  • Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems
  • Reach truck license
  • Full clean driver's license
