About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist Trainee to join our Data Center team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited - E17. As a Logistics Specialist Trainee, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
  • This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products.

Requirements
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Are 18 years of age or older.
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
  • Work 10 hour shifts as needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of reverse logistics processes.
  • Experience handling vendor relationships desirable.
  • Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems.
  • Reach truck license.
  • Full clean driver's license.
