About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist Trainee to join our Data Center team as part of our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP). This is an entry-level 12-week work and training program that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in logistics and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Work 10 hour shifts as needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of reverse logistics processes
  • Experience handling vendor relationships desirable
  • Exposure to inventory control and inventory management systems
  • Reach truck license
  • Full clean driver's license
