Quality and Systems Professional

A competitive salary of approximately £43,000 - £55,000 per annum is on offer for this exciting role based in Northampton.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Quality and Systems Manager at Eurofins GSC Poland Sp. z o. o. in Northampton. As a key member of the Quality Management Group (QMG), you will play a vital role in ensuring the laboratory maintains its ISO 17025 accreditation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the laboratory's accreditation to ISO 17025, including internal audits, reporting of monthly quality metrics, extension to scope requests, and assistance with external audits.
  • Oversight of the internal and external calibration status of laboratory equipment, working closely with the Laboratory Manager.
  • Identifying skills gaps through audits and implementing training programs or identifying suitable resources to address these gaps.
  • Engaging staff with the Quality Management System (QMS) and fostering a positive culture of quality.

You will also be responsible for providing day-to-day software support services for all staff by becoming a 'super user' of the internal Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

In addition, you will:

  • Monitor and review the performance of the internal LIMS and CRM software, notifying the relevant support teams as required to implement fixes or upgrades.
  • Manage and filter IT tickets requested by the laboratory.
  • Attend and represent the business at monthly meetings with the Eurofins Group developments teams.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A thorough understanding of ISO 17025 and experience in managing laboratory accreditations.
  • A degree educated in a science-related subject and good knowledge of testing laboratories and equipment.
  • Proven experience with LIMS and system installation, configuration, SQL, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and a problem-solving aptitude.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word, and knowledge of Power BI for reporting metrics.
  • Good time management, a positive can-do attitude, and flexibility to work additional hours when required.
