Job Title: Project Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Officer to join our team at Safran Engineering Services UK Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, leading, and managing various projects in engineering, industrialization, test, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate Statements of Work for each project
  • Ensure on-time delivery of design documentation
  • Manage supply chain
  • Point of contact for third-party contractors
  • Deliver projects to schedule
  • Plan and deliver project tests, documentation, including reports and reviews
  • Manage project resourcing requirements
  • Report status and progress, on a monthly basis, including financial and technical scope
  • Quickly identify and manage the resolution of emergent risks and issues, and escalate if required
  • Managing digital tools, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Expediting and chasing to ensure deadlines are met and urgent issues resolved
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree level or substantial experience, ideally holds PMI, IPMA, or equivalent certifications
  • Experience of working in Programme Management or with complex project management
  • Strong engineering background preferred
  • Experience in managing research and development projects
  • Able to quickly build good working relationships with project team and stakeholders
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Well-organized and able to maintain focus on deliverables
