Materials Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Engineer to join our team as a Technical Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing technical input into project costing, including specialist materials engineering input and assisting the project team in materials value engineering (VE) and identifying appropriate VE robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance in materials engineering design, assurance, and management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant materials engineering laboratories, including project-specific management of all laboratory materials testing and data management.
- Approve materials and data management of Material Approval Records.
- Ensure procedures and quality systems are applied both in-house and the supply chain.
- Challenge specifications and re-engineer to develop alternative value-engineered proposals.
