Brunel University London is seeking a highly qualified academic to join our Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. We are looking for an individual with expertise in construction materials and materials technology to contribute to our research and teaching activities.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Reader/Senior Lecturer in Construction Materials and Technology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the area of construction materials and materials technology. The role will involve developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as conducting research and publishing in top-tier journals.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses in construction materials and materials technology
- Conduct research and publish in top-tier journals
- Supervise students at all levels
- Develop and manage research projects
- Engage with industry partners and stakeholders
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Civil Engineering, Materials Science and/or Engineering or another relevant discipline. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research and teaching, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
