Business Development Lead for MEP Solutions

Overview
As a Business Development Manager for our MEP division, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as managing and growing existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell and promote our MEP solutions to potential customers, highlighting their value and benefits.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market activities, communicating effectively with the sales team and management.
- Work closely with the technical pre-sales team to agree and execute individual plans to land new customers.
- Pursue mid-market level sales opportunities and manage allocated accounts.
- Deliver software demonstrations unaided for selected products.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set out by the Sales Management team.
- Use Salesforce to log all customer contact, generate quotes, and process orders.
- Provide an accurate sales forecast for a month and quarter period when requested by the Sales Manager.
Requirements
- You will have a proven track record in selling software solutions within the construction industry and ideally within the MEP sector.
- You will become skilled in understanding the value proposition of our technology and leverage this to maximise sales and to help our MEP division continue to grow.
- You will be an accomplished software seller who understands the value of a sales process and uses one currently.
- You will have the ability to travel (at least 20%), mainly within the UK.
