We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team at Warburtons, a leading bakery brand with a rich history dating back to 1876. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our state-of-the-art bakery equipment, ensuring optimal production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including bulk handling systems, processing and packaging machinery, and site services.
- Identify and rectify faults through data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to increase plant efficiency, reduce downtime, and save energy and associated costs.
- Collaborate with production, safety, and hygiene departments to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience, preferably in a FMCG/ manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of H&S and Food Safety systems and legislation, with a strong understanding of maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
- Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, BTEC, or equivalent).
