Recruitment Business Development Manager

Are you a driven and ambitious sales professional looking for a new challenge? TeacherActive is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Essex.
This office-based role comes with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus uncapped commission. If you're motivated to succeed and enjoy building relationships with clients, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Sales and business development with new and existing clients
- Identifying client needs and requirements to fill their vacancies
- Attending client meetings, school visits, recruitment fairs and expos
- Searching for candidates through various tools, such as advertising, CV searching, referrals and utilising the CRM
- Shortlisting CVs, contacting educators and interviewing face-to-face to build a pipeline of candidates
- Supporting schools with educators on a temporary and permanent basis
- Assisting schools with emergency cover on a daily basis, filling bookings quickly
- Maintaining regular contact with your candidates and clients, building excellent lasting relationships
- Collaborating with Resourcers and compliance team to ensure candidates are fully cleared for work
- Maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge
- Reviewing your performance to continually improve
You'll need to be adaptable in recruitment, as no two days are the same. The industry is exciting, fast-paced and requires somebody with a lot of resilience, enthusiasm and energy.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous sales experience or having worked in a target and KPI-focused role
