About the Role

We're seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at BJSS. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our employees, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Install, configure, and deploy PCs and Apple Macs, as well as update internal IT systems
  • Resolve 1st line IT Support requests, including troubleshooting Windows and Apple Mac laptops, and administering Office 365
  • Raise orders for new hardware and software, as needed
  • Perform proactive checking and monitoring of internal IT systems
Requirements
  • Previous Service Desk/1st line experience
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, wired and wireless networking technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
