About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Flood Risk Modeller to join our team. As a key member of our Flood Risk and Hydrology team, you will play a critical role in delivering sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of flood risk models and assessments
  • Manage commercial aspects of projects, including contract management and client liaison
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall project
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and develop junior team members
Requirements
  • Chartered status with a relevant professional body (CIWEM, ICE)
  • Experience in fluvial flood modelling using industry-standard software
  • Ability to manage commercial aspects of projects
  • Knowledge of UK flood risk policy and regulations
  • Desirable: experience in hydrological studies, Surface Water Management Plans, and SuDS
