Flood Risk Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role:

As a Flood Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for producing and advising on flood risk and drainage strategies to accompany planning applications in various sectors, including residential, energy, retail, industrial, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients to deliver solutions
  • Attending design meetings to ensure effective collaboration
  • Managing projects and clients while maintaining detailed design
  • Dealing with local authorities to ensure compliance
  • Conducting site visits to assess flood risk

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of post-graduate experience in a consultancy background
  • Experience in flood risk and sustainable drainage strategy for private sector developments, energy, and regeneration projects
  • Knowledge of SuDS standards and relevant software such as GIS and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of the UK planning process for new developments, energy, and regeneration projects
