About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Special School Nurse to provide specialist health care support for children and young people with medical needs in Harrow Special schools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with children, their parent/carers, and key partners to improve health outcomes and support children with special needs to achieve their full potential within all settings.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing an excellent, high-quality service to children with additional needs
- Working closely with children, their parent/carers, and key partners to improve health outcomes
- Supporting children with special needs to achieve their full potential
Requirements
- Registered nurse with experience in children's services or a Band 5 nurse with significant experience in a clinical setting
- Recent experience with children's nursing within an acute/community or school setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team
