About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on our fleet of HGV trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGV trailers
  • Provide technical support from fault analysis through to completion
  • Undertake pre-MOT checks and repair any defects
  • Conduct quality control tests and present trailers for MOTs
Requirements
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Have experience of double deck maintenance and welding
