HGV Trailer Technician Job Description

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join their team. As a key member of the fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGV trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGV trailers
  • Provide technical support from fault analysis through to completion
  • Undertake pre-MOT checks and repairs as required
  • Perform QC tests and present trailers for MOTs
Requirements:
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Double deck maintenance experience is desirable
  • Welding experience is desirable
