HGV Trailer Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our fleet maintenance company, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on our fleet of HGV trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV trailers, including pre-MOT checks and any necessary repairs.
  • Conduct quality control tests and present trailers for MOTs.
  • Carry out general HGV trailer technician duties, including fault analysis and technical support.
Requirements:
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential).
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Have experience with double deck maintenance and welding (desirable).
