{"About the role": "Our Customer Delivery Driver plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our customers. They will be responsible for ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy, loading the van as required, and checking the van for roadworthiness. They will also be responsible for communicating with customers about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, and offering refunds for any issues.\. The Customer Delivery Driver will need to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, being warm and welcoming in all interactions. They will also need to be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, integrating home and work to achieve a balance that is right for them.\. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:.\. • Ensuring the van and trays are clean and kept tidy/organised.\. • Loading the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness.\. • Communicating with customers about any changes to their order.\. • Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.\. • Explaining to the customer that they will not be charged any more for their substitutions.\. • Delivering during the customer's time slot.\. • Calling the customer before arriving at their property if early.\. • Calling the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.\.\.\. You will need:.\. • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.\. • To be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues.\. • To be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations.\. • To have the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.\.\.\.
