Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at LER (SG) Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance engineers and overseeing the maintenance of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 10 maintenance engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment
  • Create and maintain a planned, preventative maintenance programme (PPM) to minimize downtime and optimize performance
  • React, diagnose, and fix machinery to ensure minimal disruption to production
  • Fault find and diagnose issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Deliver agreed plans and budgets, including established levels of servicing
  • Control all engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing
Requirements:
  • Hold an engineering qualification such as C&G, HNC, HND, or similar
  • Experience gained ideally in recycling or heavy industry
  • Experience within mechanical engineering
  • Have a hands-on and proactive approach to engineering
